Sepak Takraw

Boys with potential skills for Sepak Takraw are identified during the P3 Sports Module sessions. A MOE-Registered qualified coach trains the boys twice weekly from 3.15 pm to 5.15 pm.

Concord Primary School’s Sepak Takraw teams have been participating in the National Sepak Takraw Championships and have won multiple titles. Apart from our Friday Mass CCA training session, we also conducted extra training sessions for our selected school team players on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm in the school hall. Trainings, especially during the peak season, may sound arduous, but our members enjoy the process of training together and bonding with one another. It is the close friendship forged and continuous improvements they make which motivate them to train even harder.

Through Sepak Takraw, we hope to instil the values of commitment, self-discipline and perseverance in our members. They take pride in representing the school in competitions, and always give their best in the pursuit of achieving success.

In 2019, the Junior Teams performed exceptionally well. Both Team 1 and Team 2 achieved GOLD in by topping their respective Tiered-Group.
