 Canteen Stall Vacancy - Western Food Stall

School Canteen Operating Hours:

We are a single session school with an approximate enrolment of 1360 pupils and about 120 staff. Our canteen operates from Mondays to Fridays, 7.00am to 2.00pm during the school term. The stall will be required to operate during School Holidays, upon request by the school.


§  Stall holder and assistant(s) must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident

§  Able to provide food that meets the standards set by the Health Promotion Board (Healthy Meals in Schools Programme)

§  Able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable prices

§  Able to observe a high standard of food and personal hygiene

§  Must be in personal attendance at the stall during operating hours

§  Maintain cleanliness of the stall and canteen area

§  Has prior school canteen/catering/F&B experience

Health & Hygiene Requirements:

§  Must comply with the Healthy Eating in Schools Programme Guidelines  (https://www.healthhub.sg/livehealthy/511/Healthy%20meals%20in%20school)

§  Prior to the date of commencement, the successful applicant and assistant(s) must complete and pass the Basic Food Hygiene Course (WSQ BFHC)

§  Successful applicant shall apply for hawker license from the National Environment Agency (NEA)

§  Successful applicant and the assistant will have to attend the Healthy Meals in School Programme workshop

Application Process:

§  The application form can be downloaded from MOE Canteen website at: http://www.moe.gov.sg/schools/canteens/  

§  A hardcopy can also be obtained from the school's Security Guard House

§  The completed application form must be submitted directly to the school's General Office by the closing date (Mon, 20 July 2020)

Application form must be completed and submitted together with:

§  One photocopy of the NRIC (front & back)

§  Photocopy of certificates of relevant courses attended eg. Basic Food Hygiene Course

§  Proposed menu and price-list

Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview and food tasting session.
