Mathematics Olympiad Training Course

The Mathematics department has started the Mathematics Olympiad Training Course this year for Primary 1 to 6 students who have a strong foundation in Mathematics. The objective of the course are to stimulate and develop students' creative thinking and problem solving abilities. In addition, the course provides the students a framework of problem solving approach specific to Primary Mathematical Olympiad types of questions, including other higher order thinking questions. Students enjoyed the investigative challenges conducted during the lessons as they worked as a team to apply different strategies which they have learned to solve problems.
