International Friendship Day 2018
Our school commemorated International Friendship Day on 6 April 2018 with the theme “Celebrating the ASEAN Community.” The objectives of this year’s celebration were appreciating cultural diversity and maintaining harmonious relationships within ASEAN.
In line with the theme, the CCE department prepared interesting activities for students to deepen their understanding of the ASEAN Community. The students got to learn simple greetings and national flowers of different ASEAN countries. They participated enthusiastically in the recess activities planned for them.
An interesting skit was put up during assembly by our teachers to bring the students on a “Magical Journey” to the ASEAN countries to learn about their cultures and how they work together as a community. Concordians also enjoyed a special music performance put up by the students from Santa Laurensia Elementary School. The performance was well-received by the audience.
