Lower Primary Games

The spirit of friendly competition came alive during the Lower primary Games day on 3rd October.  The aims of holding this event were to promote mass participation, inject the element of fun and encourage teamwork as well as fairplay.  These aims were realized through mass participation of students in a variety of team relay games.  The classes had been encouraged to make banners and shakers to supplement their cheers during the games.  Many classes amazed us with their creativity in the hand-made banners and shakers as well as in their class cheers, which enlivened their classmates and pushed them to achieve their best for the class.  The games chosen were fun, safe and easy for students to take part in.  Teachers, who were with the classes throughout the event, managed the students, guiding the various groups in their events and generally had a good bonding time with the children.  Parent volunteers were roped in to help man the games and they took up their roles with zest and contributed to the smooth-running of the games.  The event concluded with the prize giving ceremony for the top 4 classes for Primary 2 and Primary 3, as well as the top 5 classes for Primary 1.
