Learning Journey to the Science Centre Singapore

Primary 3

Students explored the exciting phenomena of magnetism, investigated the magnetic properties of materials, made their own magnets, found out about the properties and uses of different magnets.

Primary 4

By applying the concepts of on heat energy and temperature, students worked in groups to tackle the design challenge of using different materials and ways of keeping homes cool.

Primary 5

Students observed various fruit and seed specimens to find out how they are adapted for dispersal. They were taught how to classify them into various methods of dispersal, such as by water, wind, explosive action and animals.

Primary 6

 

Students explored the various forms of energy through many engaging hands-on activities that demonstrated how energy is transferred and converted from one form to another. They used these concepts to build a thrilling marble machine.
