P3 Hydroponics

Students would be learning about plants, plant parts and plant life cycle during their Science lessons, thus a good opportunity for them to learn more about plants through our hands-on Hydroponics programme. Hydroponics is a soilless farming technology commonly used in Singapore. Leveraging on existing school asset, students get to grow the different varietals of spinach in the hydroponics greenhouse located on the second floor. Students are given the first-hand experience of farming; from transplant seedlings to harvesting the adult plant after 2 to 3 weeks! Through this experience, not only will they be able to learn more about Life Science, it also inculcates the values of responsibility and care towards plants and their environment.
