Professional Learning Team (PLT)

Every year, Professional Learning Teams of Science teachers will be formed and they will work to develop new strategies or methodologies to improve the teaching and learning of selected science topics.

In 2020, the P4 PLT used the 2 pedagogies; Flipped Classroom and Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model, to encourage in-depth discussion in class so that students can have a deeper understanding of the Science concepts. Two P4 classes were selected to work on this project. A pre- and post- test were conducted, 30 out of 42 students showed a great improvement in the post-test.
