P4 to 5 Bridging Programme - Calculator Workshop
The workshop was conducted by the Primary 5 Mathematics teachers during curriculum time on 5 January. The use of calculators helps to facilitate the use of exploratory approaches in learning mathematical concepts and solve challenging problems. The objective of the workshop is to familiarize the primary 5 students with the various basic function keys on the scientific calculator to perform a range of mathematical calculations.
After this workshop, students will have the basic knowledge of using the function keys and choose the correct calculator function to perform calculations for a given problem. It enables students to solve mathematical problems which may be challenging for them to work with if they do not have a calculator.

Our students were seated with their masks on as the trainers engaged the students with interactive and engaging presentations while delivering their content of “How to an effective leader”. It is without a doubt that our students are adaptable and have progressed by leaps and bounds in embracing the new norms of learning even in the aspect of CCA. Through the activities, our students has managed to understand what it means to be a leader and how to conduct themselves accordingly in the given situation.
